Niketown

Niketown sucks.

I have heard that again and again from a variety of people but we happened to be in the neighborhood, so that is where we went for shoes.  Ugh. How torturous.  There is literally one person a floor to help when they should have 5 or 6.  The process of trying on shoes is laborious.  Once you figure out what you need, they call the order down and up it comes in a dumb waiter.  Looks cool but takes forever.  In one department, people had been waiting for 30 minutes.  Ridiculous!

I actually talked to a manager but she could care less.  I just don’t get it.  Nike is currently housed in one of the most expensive pieces of real estate in the city.  Why in the world wouldn’t they be interested in paying for their rent by waiting on their customers?
