Treasure Island

Last night was the middle school play, Treasure Island.  Josh has been at it for weeks.  It is pretty damn cute seeing your kid up there in costume acting.  We’ve been to our share of performances over the years and I still get a kick out of the kids on stage.  How could I not? 

Josh was a lowly deck hand but did get 6 lines and some drum time on the rum bottle.  Wasn’t there to witness the brilliant drum playing on the rum bottle during the afternoon matinee where he shattered the bottle by mistake all over the floor but I heard he stayed in character.  Pretty funny.
