The New Yorker and Spitzer

What a day in politics.  Shame shame on Eliot Spitzer.  I feel so awful for his wife, Silda, who has obviously been his better half.  The children, three girls that have to also deal with the reprecussions of their fathers behavior when they go to school today.  Power can be incredibly destructive.  His poor judgement and his own personal needs are so shamelessly selfish.  Did he ever think that his selfish desires (that he acted upon) and now got caught in the act, would change his relationship with his family forever.  What an ass.

On another political note, when I got the New Yorker in the mail yesterday, I laughed out loud at the cover.  One of the best political covers in years.  One of my favorite reads of the week.
