Returning to Normalcy
I haven’t really blogged in a few weeks. Now, I am returning to normalcy. There is something so wonderful about just checking out at the end of the summer. The hardest thing is reentry.
School started today for the kids. There is the thrill of seeing everyone. The excitement of another year in the works. But, on the other hand, it is a bit of a drag knowing that in a week or so we are back to schedules and craze. While we checked out we had our days and nights free. Ice cream anyone? Now, I take a look at the next 3 months of events and my heart starts racing.
Although I am looking forward to all the stuff we have coming up the pike. We have loads of theater tickets, dinner parties, school events beyond, events to attend, art to look at, museum shows to check out, shopping to be done, restaurants to go to and just enjoying NYC. So, at the end of the day, we’re just changing into the next season.
I admit, there is a part of me that is also trying to figure out what is my next gig? Do I continue just managing our family for the time being or try to get involved in another organization or start a business. I admit, I never saw myself being the family planner but it just sort of happened that way. Someone has to do it and it is great for the kids and my husband. Who knows what the future will bring.
I will keep blogging and we will all see how the season turns out.

I’ll ask you a question I’ve been asking myself lately; where do you find the time? You guy’s never seem to stop (except at the beach), I find myself near collapse so often just trying to do my thing which is dwarved by comparison to yours.
