Another day in sunny San Diego

When Fred and my brother looked like this the morning after Sea World, my sister-in-law, smart girl that she is, said why don’t we bag the zoo and hang at the hotel and do some beach and pool action.  Yes!  I know the San Diego zoo is fantastic, I was there many many moons ago but relaxation seemed more appropriate.

We even got a little local flavor.  San Diego has one of the largest military bases and here are our troops doing their morning work out.  It was really wild.  It reminded me of going to visit my husband the first time.  His father was a General at Westpoint and I literally woke up the first morning at 6am hearing the group chanting while they ran their morning exercise.  I remember wondering, what am I doing here? 

Fred, made sure he got his work in.  All and all, it was really a sweet spot.
