Evidently, Jeff is not a regular of the Gotham Gal. When did she get her license? Yesterday, you were putting her dolls and toys away.
She has her learner’s. In NYC you have to be 18 to get a license. Itreally has not been a priority for her because in NYC we basically getaround by bike, feet, subway and taxi. Only time she gets to drive is outon the East End. I know plenty of people who grew up in NYC who neverbothered to learn how to drive. Kind of funny.
that is brilliant and I finally see the light. McCain didnt pick her as his running mate he would have picked Romney. So whos behind the campaign? That is the question. Probably Rove, Bushes, Cheney and their platform is religious right and thats Palin. I can only hope (and pray) that their blindness will lead them to a wall. Is this country really that reactionary? This election will paint a picture of the Real USA the real majority how do they think and vote…Judy
why see the negative. mccain was likely getting more pressure to pick romney or the other governor, but he chose a very real person. she’s may get hammered by biden, but she’s very non-rehearsed and less smooth than i’m used to seeing. i like this.who does josh think mccain really knows that would be in a position to be a VP? and how well does obama really know biden? they’ve been in the senate together a short time and it’s not like they were “hanging out” etc? in fact some of the people obama does know well, have been a hindrance.so i love that we can count on GG and her family to be very in-tune, but i’d also like to see the below commenters expect more…
McCain met with her once and offered the position over the phone. A hugedecision that should be vetted and really thought out. Speaking and talkingwith the person who will be your partner for four years or possibly eightand is a heartbeat away from the President shouldn’t be taken so lightly.Regardless of all I have said above, having someone in the White House thatnever got a passport until a year ago and has a pregnant 17 year olddaughter is not someone who, in my opinion, is a role model for our country.
