Returning to John Dory

I have been to John Dory a few times now and Fred has too.  We both love it.  The food is different, consistently good, creative and we both just love the vibe.  I went last night and shared appetizers and main courses with my friends which was fun.  Got to try a few other things on the menu.  Escarole salad with anchovy dressing is delicious.  The Burrata with a few pomegranate seeds sprinkled over the top works too.  Full of flavor.  Oysters Rockefeller is good too.  4 Oysters roasted with a mixture of herbs over the top.  Yum.

The wines there are incredible and well priced.  I have yet to pick one out myself.  Just ask David Lynch who runs the place.  After listening to what you like he will suggest a few things but I'd trust him.  He has yet to steer us wrong.  Last night we had a red and a wine and both were fantastic. 

I sound like I am gushing but I am a fan.
