Cleaning the closet
I am slowly making my way through the house cleaning out every closet and drawer. Yesterday I hit up my closet. My friend came over to help. That was the key. There were things that I have kept because I thought I might wear again. Yeah, right. Somethings were absolutely worth the keep but somethings were absolutely worth the toss. Shoes, bags, clothes, etc. It was fun and I could have never created this big of a pile without her. Thank god she came! I feel like I had a good cleanse.

I need to get on the spring cleaning out the closets thing too. Sounds like I might need to enlist a friend. The post was inspiring! Much better than watching Hoarding: Buried Alive on TLC. That show is downright depressing.
The key is having a friend to really make you toss the goods
Gotham Gal, hope you’re donating all the old shoes, clothes, ipads, etc to a good cause!
No worries. All pass along
But the saddest thing is that you will soon buy some new things, to take the vacant place. What a consumerism. And that is not about the author of the blog, but about you, me, and everyone. This is sad, isn’t it?
Consumerism is a good thing as far as I am concerned. Most economies existon consumerism at every level.
It was fun and I can’t stop thinking about the red boots!!!
Haha. Holding on to those babies for 15 years.
We are moving to San Fran in June and spent this weekend throwing away clothes. We had 10 trash bags worth of stuff 🙂 I expected 2 or 3 but I guess we had no ides how much we hoarded.
It is truly amazing how much stuff you keep over the years but don’t need or use.
We are moving from suburban life to city life for the first time in our lives. Our apt is going to be half the size of our current one, so there was a lot of incentive to get rid of everything that we dont use.
Congratulations on the shift to city life. That is huge in itself.
thanks. looking forward to walking a lot more.
