Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
I made these over the weekend and everyone asked if I would post the recipe. They are quite delicious.
2 sticks unsalted butter at room temperature
1 cup light brown sugar
3/4 white sugar
1 tsp. kosher salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 jar of extra crunchy peanut butter ( the extra crunchy party might be the key )
2 large eggs
3 cups flour
24 ounce bag of sem-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
Using a mix master and the paddle attachment, beat the butter and sugars until creamy. Add salt and baking soda, mix again. Add the eggs, mix again. Add the peanut butter and mix thoroughly. Add the flour, one cup at a time and mixing in between. Add the chocolate chips and mix again until everything is really incorporated.
Using your hands, make about 12 balls per cookie sheet. Press them down with a fork. Put in the oven for about 12 minutes or until browned.
Voila.

Do you add the peanut butter with the unsalted butter and sugars or later?
whoops. just fixed the recipe. peanut butter comes in before the flour.
Lucy and I are going to make these.
they are really delicious.
Yum! I used to eat peanut butter chip cookies all the time when I was in college (which probably explains why I’m thinner now). Will be making them today. Curious why there is no vanilla so may experiment with half with and half without.
no vanilla, but it works.
I want to make these! What size jar of peanut butter???
regular size, 18 ounces
I hope these are as good as they look in the picture!
They are!
thats a lot of fat – I will try to reduce peanut butter and chocolate and butter and sugar judy
good idea. i am sure it will be delicious
How much are 2 sticks of butter?
8 ounces.
Just to be sure: Temperatue celcius or fahrenheit? Is baking soda, baking powder or bicarbonated soda. Sorry for silly questions. My brother in law has insisted I make this for him. 🙂 I am not a good cook!
no worries. yes baking soda not powder. temperature in the ovens are farenheit.
