Kitchensurfing

When there is one good idea there are generally a few of them out there just a different iteration.  I have seen this idea starting to take place from a few different places but I like the group at Kitchensurfing. 

Kitchensurfing is a marketplace for chefs.  That would be chefs from caterers, line cooks, home cooks, famous chefs, juice makers, etc.  An entire entrepreneurial army of people who love to cook and can connect with people who are willing to pay for their time and wares.  I could go on and on as to what this could possibly evolve into but you know something is happening based on the recent event I went to for Kitchensurfing. 

Chefs showed up from everywhere including one that decided to drive down from Montreal for the event.  Each chef showed their wares and photographers took pictures.  This information will be uploaded to each of their individual sites…and on top of that a really nice community took hold.
