Peter Dayton

We have more than a few pieces of Peter Daytons work.  I really love them all.  Back in 2006 he started making these super cool surfboards.  We never bought one but I kept it in the back of my head.  This summer we went over to his new studio to see what he was up to with the thought that we were going to buy one.  We are still in the process of figuring out which one.

The first thing I saw when we walked in was this table that I had seen on Grey Area.  A great website with interesting art to purchase. 

This piece was from a few years ago when he got into old vinyl.  Peter was in a punk rock band back in the 70's when he was in Boston. 

Peter has been working with Peter Marino who designs and does the Chanel stores.  Peter puts a lot of this work in them.
