Tara Geer at Glenn Horowitz Books
A few years ago Glenn took me up to see Tara in her studio. Her drawings are unique and so different than most of the art that I see. She takes something so random like a balled up paper on the sidewalk and draws a piece of that and draws it over and over again until they become these random drawings. I own one and every time I look at it I see something different.
Glenn has a show up of Tara's work in his store in East Hampton. Absolutely worth going by for a look if you are in the area. First of all, Glenn's store is beautiful. Simple, clean, airy with a nice beach vibe. Tara's work looks beautiful on the walls.
Glenn not only nurtures artists he does appraisals and archives and specializes in 19-21st Century manuscripts. I took a shot of this book, a first printing and signed. I also loved this book.
Here are some other works of Taras.
This particular grouping is interesting. As Glenn says, Tara is a true artist. I couldn't agree more.

I like these.Reminds me of some intaglio prints I had way back when.Whispy with depth. Thanks for the share.
This person deserves to be in the drawing center. Those are some innovative charcoals. I haven’t seen anything like that
