Golden Unicorn

Goldenunicorn
After going to see the 911 Memorial we popped over to the Golden Unicorn.  I have not been in years.  It is still the same and there is still a huge line by noon.  We got there at 11am and had no problems getting a table for 9 on the 3rd floor.  if you want to go, go early!

The carts are filled with different types of dim sum and servers push them around.  Around noon the dim sum is still available but there is also a bigger selection of dishes that are not dumpling related.

Spread
We began with a few and were a little more selective than we have been in the past.  It is easy to get carried away and say yes to everything they push on you.  Yes push on you.  I wonder if the ladies with the carts get commission on how much they sell.

After a few rounds of dim sum we started to eat the sweets.

Bill
I love how they account for what you ate.  Each time they serve you the servers take out their stamp and add it to their bill.

Definitely a fun thing to do.

The stamps, like a chop are cool.Remember when I had my first gig reporting into Asia and had an Arnold ‘chop’ made for me to ‘sign’ my documents that were part of the approval plan.Love when food is an expression of culture.
