Summer Guides
I love lists. Almost any type of lists works for me but travel lists are the best. Putting together all the places that we need to see, eat and experience in a place is essential before getting to the location of choice. Lots of arrangements made, lists to follow. It doesn’t mean we aren’t spontaneous but it is hard to take it all in when you fly by the seat of your pants. It is good to know that you know exactly what you are about to experience.Emily put together these amazing lists for Foursquare. Perfect for kicking off summer travels.Take a look at the ones below. They are packed with info. I am using the one for Mexico City this fall. Here are the highlights that launched this week.
Amalfi Coast.
Mexico City
Marrakesh
London
Tokyo
Rio de Janiero
Bali
Berlin
Santa Barbara
Vancouver

I’d love to get to Mexico City. I’ve never been :(Also – what is that travel service you mentioned… it’s a paid service, but they have great recs and itineraries, etc?
There is Indagare <https: http://www.indagare.com=“” intro=””/> and they do a great job. I used to be a big fan of Luxe Travel Guides but they went up and down quickly. They launched at the end of the paper world right before the surge of the phone apps. Never caught up with the constant change of info.
Indagare is the one I was thinking of. And yeah, Lili used to use Luxe a lot, and come to think of it, stopped as well.
We found the Luxe Guide for Tokyo useless. It was recommended and was so shallow in its content.
it was so good at one point.
Made me think of my favorite walk from Revello down the terraced hills to Amalfi. A great hike.
Fantastic blog post. I’m the ‘fly by the seat of my pants type,’ and ultimately miss out on so many wonderful stops with my lack of lists & organization. I’m completely inspired – Thank you!
Great lists! Planning on Marrakesh, but the lists themselves are like little imaginary trips . . . Just put together our own list for travel in tuscany with kids at http://www.trovvit.com/blog…
Love it. We’ve been thinking Mexico City….Bookmarked it.
