30 Days of Holiday Kindness
My friend Jenna Abdou, the host and producer of 33 Voices sent this out. She put forward doing a random act of kindness every day for a month, be it thanking a colleague, calling a friend, or simply asking someone how they’re doing and listening for their real answer. I love the concept particularly in these days where anger seems to be rearing its ugly head.

I feel like an unkind person after reading this list–though I’m not.Though have reached out to people that matter, donated to charities that I care about, but do need to up my game on just being generous.I never have cash to give to the homeless but am going to take the suggestion to buy meals for them when it can be done as something I can act on weekly over the season. Thanks!
You are def not unkind. Everyone expresses their kindness in different ways
I love this- thank you for sharing it. Here’s another one that well-known psychologist Martin Seligman described in his amazing book “Authentic Happiness.” Write a Gratitude Letter to a person in your life who has meant a great deal to you. In the letter, describe in detail how that person has impacted you during your life and how that impact has grown in meaning to you. When you’re happy with the content of your letter, get it framed. Then travel to that person to whom you’ve written the Gratitude Letter to and read your letter to them in person, presenting them with the framed letter.
Love that
After I wrote Gratitude and Trust I started doing one random act of kindness each day. I tend to be either an optimistic or a crank, the middle is hard for me to achieve. But when I endeavor to be randomly kind to others, cranky always seems to disappear at least for a few hours. Great list.
