In this current moment, with the COVID-19 pandemic taking over everything in our lives, the one thing at the top of everyone’s mind seems to be food. I sat down to talk about this major topic with my good friend Dana Cowin, listen to her on Speaking Broadly, for inspiration on life, career and beyond, on Heritage Radio Network, iTunes, Stitcher & Podcasts.com. She is an editor, author, radio show host and possibly best known for her two decades as the Editor-in-Chief of Food & Wine.
Dana and I met over zoom to discuss food in the age of coronavirus, what’s changed, what’s remained, and what we see happening in the future. We could have talked forever.
You can also listen to this on Soundcloud here and iTunes here.

Loved talking with you, Joanne! And can’t wait to revisit our predictions in 6 months!
Ditto. I can talk to you all day long!
.The Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990 was passed by Pres Geo HW Bush. He was a Republican. It was amended in 2008 and signed by Geo W Bush. He was a Republican. It is a complete misnomer to suggest ignorantly that the Republicans have been in any way opposed to Title III — the section that pertains to public and commercial facilities. It is just not true. Sorry. The Republicans were also the driving force behind the 1963/64 Civil Rights Acts (northern Republicans v southern Democrats) which comes as no surprise when one recalls that it was the Republicans who outlawed slavery in America under Abraham Lincoln.I hate to see people speak with ignorance about our history. Ignorance leads to the creation of false narratives and the perpetuation of uninformed viewpoints. This ignorance is leveraged by TDS Stage IV. You can do so much better with the truth.JLMwww.themusingsofthebigredca…
