Stacy Flynn @Evrnu is making an impact

unnamed-2
I have written about Stacy Flynn of Evrnu before.  She has had quite a week.  Not only is Stacy making an impact on her industry she is changing the conversation and focus around sustainability, pollution and clean technology in fabric production.  If it wasn’t for this blog Stacy would have probably never come across my path.  I just love this company!  Stacy is on the far left in the picture above and her happy face says it all.

Evrnu won the grand prize for the Fabric of Change in Copenhagen this past week that acknowledges innovation for a sustainable apparel industry.

unnamed-1They also announced their partnership with Levis where Evrnu made the first jean from recycled garment waste.

Been a good week for Evrnu!

Cotton is way more interesting to me than polyester, but damn, there is plastic clogging up oceans in the most disgusting way- I saw somewhere the other day that by 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. Good on all three of these guys.
