Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow – I loved this book. It is about people who work in technology, the gaming industry today, relationships of people who think on a different level, about this generation of young adults, and true friendships. Highly recommend

The Furrows – I liked the first half more than the second, yet the prose is beautiful. It is about family and grieving loss. Everyone mourns differently, and that has an effect on the entire family.

The Book of Goose – Two young girls from a tiny remote French village. Ones brilliance is discovered, pulling her from her friends and family into a world of wealthy adult expectations. Extremely well written and a tale that spans all generations.

Marigold and Rose – One sitting book. Two twins with different voices making their way into the world

The White Girl – An Australian author writes about a time in the 1960s where how another Government suppresses the Aboriginal people because they do not look or act like the white people in power.  We need more books like this.

Flight – Family changes when the matriarch dies. The connections shift, yet we still all try to love each other. A book about life.

Fatty Fatty Boom Boom – A memoir of food, fat, and family. Loved it.

Trees – Gory pulp fiction that is hard to put down.

The Marriage Portrait – A insightful and beautiful book about royalty in the Italian Renaissance.

Invisible Child: Poverty, Hope and Survival in an American City – This book is outstanding. If you want to understand America, read this book

Our Missing Hearts – Incredible book. Ng is an excellent writer, this book is brilliant.

Perish – I am not sure I can recommend this book, although a brilliant debut novel. This book follows a Black family in rural Texas that is destroyed by the generational trauma of incest. Heartbreaking.
