Gifts for the season

images-2I am invested in more than a handful of companies that has great gifts for the season including wrapping paper.

Here they are:

Artlifting  A company that empowers homeless and disabled individuals through the sale of their art.  The gift wrap is beautiful and unique.  There is also plenty of prints, originals, gift cards and more to shop from.

Parachute  Gifts for the home with a slant towards the bedroom.  They are partners with Nothing but Nets to provide safe sleeping from malaria in Africa to those in need.

Naja  Unique lingerie that is made in Columbia where they employ women from underserved areas.  Naja also gives 2% of their revenue to local charities that provide continuing education for these women.

20X200 Art for everyone.  Over 1000 editions from over 300 artists

Food52  Really great curated products for the kitchen, your home, and outdoors too.  The recipes on the site always work too!

Mouth  Indie food gifts galore.  One for you and one for me.

Ring  Video doorbell so you always know who is on the other side.

Jewelbots for all the teens and tweens in your life.  A programmable friendship bracelet.

Some food to be shared as well. Hot Bread Kitchen for a book and divine bread.  Sweet Lorens, all natural cookie dough, Phin and Phebes excellent ice cream and Ricks Picks for all the condiments you need over the holidays and last but certainly not least Mah-Ze-Dahr Bakery who ships far and wide.  The baked goods are off the charts.  Might be the best chocolate cake I have ever had in my life.

The holidays are almost here.

Ummm, Chocolate cake….my favorite is Portillo’s. Ironically, a hot dog stand. Soon time for King Cake. Happy holidays to you.

I love the concept of “ring.” I am on my way to home depot to buy one today. I am hoping I can mount it in the same place as my doorbell is mounted now. I don’t want the old holes to show in the brick. I want to know how high we need to mount it so the camera catches the face of the person who is at the door? I did not see it in the online literature so I will be heading to the store.

Naja was on our list 🙂 And we have a gift guide too…more athletically-minded in nature. But covers a wide variety of recipients. http://athleticmindedtravel
